*First off, Please tell us what made you decide to enter the contest and what would you want people to know about in regards to the image.
- When I first saw the contest, I immediately thought of my photo titled "Memory of the Trees". To me, that photo was the definition of Peace in every way, shape and form. Everytime I go out to the boat, I feel at peace.
You can find peace in the most unlikely places and especially when you're least expecting to find it.
*Out of your entire gallery, which one is your favorite image and why?
- I have to say that I don't really have a favorite. Each photo was a learning experience for me and every new photo is better than the last.
*People always ask if anyone has been an influence in your life or who you admire, do you have a story or a profound moment as to when you decided you wanted to create?
- I admire anyone who follows their dreams. I believe that they are the most influential people for me and I continue to get inspiration and motivation from them.
*Photography is your favorite choice of art, but if you had unlimited funds, would you stay with photography or do you wish you could do another art form?
- I couldnt ever stop doing photography. It's my life and a huge part of who I am and no amount of unlimited funds could change my mind!
*What would be your ultimate dream, must have for equipment?
- Must have for equipment? Hm, thats a hard one, really. I think the Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens. But right now, I am really greatful to have a great camera like my Rebel XTi!
*What brought you to deviantart and do you think being here has been beneficial to your art? How so? What would you like to achieve?
- I believe a friend introduced me to dA and right away I was hooked. dA has been very helpful from the start. Not only has it helped me grow more confident in myself, but it has also encouraged me to keep pursuing my dreams no matter what.
*Would you like to tell us about any of your favorite dA artists and/or images?
- Oh good grief. There are so many talented artists on dA, I couldnt begin to name them all. But if you take a look in my favorites, there you will see all my inspirations.
Here are six random ones from my gallery that I'd like to share the spotlight with!
Lesser known photos:
(I'm a HUGE WWII buff, so this photo is very, very inspiring for me.)
+
More popular photos:

:thumb133735435:
*Lastly, What do you want people to know, either about you or just some parting words?
-I'd like to part with a quote that I live by;
"But I, being poor have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams beneath your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams"
-YB Yeats

Devious Journal Entry
Been such a long time yet so little compared to a lifetime! 2015, I opened an art studio with such high hopes! It was wonderful while it lasted, but responsibilities happen and I went with the easier route and closed our doors Nov 30th, 2021. So many memories! Thank you to all who graced our doors and thank you to the universe for the amazing opportunities!
The Studio
On June 20th 2015 - I opened a part time art studio!!!! I'm currently there 18-20 hours a week (in addition to working my normal 9-5 job) and have 2 other artists sharing the space with me (whom I'm mentoring to take over)... A dream come true!
If you are in the Bristol CT USA area, come find us!

We are on Facebook too for more info!
And yes we are looking for some weekend vendors to share our space during the Months of Nov & Dec!
busy busy busy
I love being so busy, but it makes me sad sometimes that I have to give up some of that on-line life... Just finished doing a show at a local gastro pub, Barley Vine and I will be participating at an art show tonight at Hartford County Tattoo in Plantsville, CT that will hang until the end of December and next Saturday I will be participating with the Rockwell park Summer Festival with Bare Bones Art Gallery here in Bristol CT... phew & I still have more jewelry I have to make :D - see life is busy! So lets take a moment to enjoy some other people's art... especially art that inspires me to continue to create!

Anyways, I'm enjoying life and hope you are too!!!
